Make this easy, restaurant-quality Texas Roadhouse Style Baked Salmon at home. This recipe delivers a smoky, buttery glaze that melts into tender, flaky salmon fillets, ready in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for simple cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. This step helps achieve better texture. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. This is your sweet and savory glaze.
  4. In a separate small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Sprinkle this seasoning mix evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Brush or spoon half of the honey garlic butter mixture over the seasoned salmon fillets.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and brush the remaining honey garlic butter mixture over the fillets.
  8. Return the salmon to the oven and bake for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve immediately for a moist and juicy salmon experience.

Notes

  • For crispy skin salmon, place the fillets skin-side down and bake for the entire time without flipping. You can also briefly broil for the last minute if you prefer a crispier top crust.
  • If you want a bolder flavor, substitute the honey with maple syrup for a slightly different sweet glaze.
  • This recipe works well for meal prep; store cooled leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
