Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub both sides lightly with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
While the salmon bakes, prepare the garlic butter sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Do not let the garlic brown.
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the lemon juice, fresh parsley, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Mix well.
Once the salmon is removed from the oven, spoon the warm garlic butter sauce evenly over each fillet.
Serve immediately for a restaurant style seafood dinner.
Notes
For a richer flavor similar to the restaurant, you can broil the salmon for the last 2 minutes after adding the butter sauce to slightly caramelize the top. Watch closely to prevent burning.
Use high-quality, fresh salmon for the best results in this copycat recipe.
If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, increase the minced garlic to 5 or 6 cloves.
