Ingredients
Scale
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1 scoop collagen peptides
8 ounces hot water (not boiling)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl or mug to remove clumps.
Add about 2 ounces of hot water to the matcha. Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk or a small electric frother until completely smooth and frothy.
In a separate cup, combine the collagen peptides, remaining hot water, and maple syrup (if using). Stir until the collagen dissolves.
Pour the matcha mixture into the collagen base.
Steam or froth the almond milk separately until hot and slightly bubbly.
Pour the frothed milk over the matcha and collagen mixture.
Serve immediately and enjoy your focused energy.
Notes
Use high-quality ceremonial grade matcha for the best flavor.
Water temperature should be around 175°F (80°C); boiling water can make the matcha taste bitter.
Adjust sweetener to your taste preference or omit it entirely.
You can cold brew this recipe by using cold water and blending all ingredients with ice for an iced latte.
