Make a quick, cold protein shake featuring vanilla and strawberry flavors. This recipe is simple to prepare and suitable for a post-workout recovery drink or a fast meal replacement.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the almond milk, vanilla protein powder, frozen strawberries, ice cubes, and vanilla extract into a blender.
  2. Add chia seeds if you are using them.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and thick.
  4. If the shake is too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly.
  5. Pour the shake into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use almond, soy, or oat milk.
  • If you prefer a lower-carb option, reduce the amount of strawberries or use a low-carb protein powder.
  • You can substitute fresh strawberries with frozen ones; if using fresh, add 1/2 cup more ice.
  • For a sweeter taste, add 1/2 teaspoon of stevia or a small amount of honey before blending.
