Ingredients
Scale
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon hot sauce (like sriracha or your favorite)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet.
Spread the sprouts in a single layer.
Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until they are tender and slightly charred.
While the sprouts roast, whisk together the honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. This is your hot honey glaze.
Remove the roasted sprouts from the oven.
Drizzle the hot honey glaze evenly over the hot sprouts.
Toss gently to coat everything well.
Serve immediately and enjoy this project!
Notes
For extra crispiness, ensure your sprouts are dry before tossing with oil.
Adjust the hot sauce amount based on your preferred spice level.
You can substitute maple syrup for honey if you prefer.
