Ingredients
Scale
28 Oreo cookies
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
Instructions
Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
In a medium bowl, combine Oreo crumbs, softened cream cheese, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix until well combined and a dough-like consistency forms.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze the truffles for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
Melt white chocolate chips with vegetable shortening (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
Dip each frozen truffle into the melted white chocolate, coating completely.
Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Let the chocolate set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Notes
For a festive look, drizzle with melted dark chocolate or sprinkle with edible glitter before the white chocolate sets.
Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
