Ingredients
Scale
1 pound fresh strawberries
12 ounces white chocolate chips
Black edible marker or black candy melts
Instructions
Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Ensure they are completely dry for the chocolate to adhere well.
Melt the white chocolate chips. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, or use a double boiler.
Dip each strawberry into the melted white chocolate, coating it about two-thirds of the way up.
Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Before the chocolate sets, use a black edible marker or melted black candy melts to draw ghost faces on the white chocolate. Create eyes and a mouth for a spooky look.
Allow the chocolate to set completely. You can place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.
Serve your ghostly strawberries and enjoy the Halloween fun!
Notes
Make sure your strawberries are completely dry before dipping. Even a little water can cause the chocolate to seize.
If using black candy melts, melt them separately and use a piping bag or a toothpick to draw the ghost faces.
Get creative with the ghost faces! You can make them happy, surprised, or even a little scary.
