Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 English muffins, split
  • 4 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup toppings (e.g., pepperoni, sliced mushrooms, cooked sausage)

Instructions

  2. Place the split English muffins, cut-side up, on a baking sheet.
  3. If you want a crispier crust, lightly brush the cut sides with olive oil.
  4. Spoon one tablespoon of pizza sauce onto each muffin half.
  5. Distribute the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  6. Add your chosen toppings to each mini pizza.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the muffin are lightly toasted.
  8. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For an air fryer version, cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 4 to 6 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • You can use this recipe for breakfast pizza by substituting sauce with scrambled eggs and bacon bits before adding cheese.
  • Freeze assembled, unbaked pizzas on a tray, then transfer to a freezer bag for later use. Bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cook time.
