Create simple, fresh, and flavorful smoked salmon cucumber bites. These appetizers combine creamy dill spread with savory smoked salmon, all served on crisp cucumber slices and topped with everything bagel seasoning. They are perfect for parties or light snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced or chopped
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumber into rounds about 1/4 inch thick. Pat the slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon or pipe a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
  4. Top the cream cheese with a small piece of smoked salmon.
  5. Sprinkle each bite generously with everything bagel seasoning.
  6. Arrange the bites on a serving platter and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use English cucumbers as they have fewer seeds and thinner skin.
  • For a richer flavor, use full-fat cream cheese.
  • You can prepare the dill cream cheese mixture one day ahead and store it in the refrigerator.
  • If you prefer smaller bites, you can use a melon baller to create hollows in the cucumber rounds before filling them.
