Ingredients
Scale
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
2 tablespoons Caesar dressing
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
If the chicken breasts are very thick, slice them horizontally to create four thinner cutlets for even cooking. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and lemon juice until smooth. This is your creamy sauce.
Spoon the creamy mixture evenly over the top of each piece of chicken, spreading it to cover completely.
Sprinkle a little extra grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce topping.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden brown and bubbly.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For an extra crunchy top, briefly broil the chicken for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Serve this dish over steamed broccoli or alongside a simple green salad to complete your meal project.
We often use pre-shredded Parmesan, but freshly grated melts better into the sauce.
