Ingredients
Scale
1 pound white or cremini mushrooms, stems removed
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush the mushroom caps with melted butter.
Finely chop the removed mushroom stems.
In a medium bowl, combine the chopped stems, remaining melted butter, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
Spoon the filling evenly into each mushroom cap, pressing lightly.
Place the stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
Carefully remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
Wipe the mushroom caps clean with a damp paper towel instead of rinsing them.
If the filling seems too wet, add one more tablespoon of breadcrumbs.
Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model. Check after 9 minutes.
