Ingredients
Scale
4 ears corn, shucked
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cut each ear of corn lengthwise into four equal wedges, creating eight ‘ribs’ total. You may need a sharp, sturdy knife for this step.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Place the corn ribs in a medium bowl. Pour the butter mixture over the corn and toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
Arrange the corn ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap too much. Work in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 10 minutes.
Carefully open the basket, sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese over the corn ribs, and gently toss them.
Return the ribs to the basket and air fry for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the corn is tender and the edges are crispy.
Remove the ribs from the air fryer. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the hot ribs and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
To make cutting easier, stand the corn cob upright on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to slice down the sides, following the cob’s natural lines.
For extra crispiness, ensure the corn ribs are not crowded in the air fryer basket during cooking.
If you prefer a spicier flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the butter mixture.
